1. Platform Commission
EraVenda charges a 4% service commission to the professional on every completed job secured through the platform. The client pays the agreed job amount plus this commission, and the professional receives the agreed job amount after payment and verification. The commission covers platform operations, client matching, dispute resolution and marketing. Commission rates may be adjusted with 30 days' notice.
2. On-Platform Payments Only
All job payouts are handled exclusively through the EraVenda payment system. When you mark a job complete, the client reviews and pays the agreed job amount plus the EraVenda service commission through the app. EraVenda holds the payment and releases the agreed job amount to you once the work is verified. Off-platform transactions are strictly prohibited: you may not solicit, accept, or arrange payment for an EraVenda-booked job outside of the platform, in cash or otherwise. Doing so is a violation of these terms and grounds for suspension or permanent removal, and forfeits EraVenda's dispute protection for that job. 3. Professional Obligations
By registering, you confirm that all information provided — including qualifications, certifications, work experience and identity — is accurate and truthful. You agree to maintain valid licences required for your trade in Ghana. Misrepresentation of credentials is grounds for immediate suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
4. Quality & Conduct Standards
You agree to deliver work to a professional standard, honour agreed timelines, treat clients and their property with respect, and communicate promptly. Repeated complaints, low ratings or conduct violations may result in profile suspension or removal at Eravenda's discretion.
5. Insurance & Liability
As an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own tools, materials, personal insurance and tax obligations. Eravenda does not employ service professionals and is not liable for property damage, personal injury or workmanship issues. Clients are encouraged to review profiles and ratings before making requests.
6. Profile & Data Usage
Eravenda may display your professional name, company name, profession, qualifications, portfolio images and ratings publicly on the platform. You grant Eravenda a non-exclusive licence to use this information for platform operations and marketing. You may request profile deletion at any time by contacting support.
7. Termination
Eravenda reserves the right to suspend or terminate your professional profile for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or prolonged inactivity. You may withdraw from the platform at any time, subject to the completion or cancellation of ongoing service bookings.
8. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from platform use shall first be addressed through Eravenda's internal resolution process. If unresolved, disputes are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Accra.
